Cash Book ("the app", "we", "us", or "our") is a personal finance and expense-management application that helps users record cash inflows, cash outflows, budgets, transactions, and financial reports.
1. Information You Enter
You may enter information such as transaction amounts, notes, dates, times, budget details, currency preferences, and receipt or photo attachments. This information is provided by you when you use the app.
2. Local Storage and Financial Data
Cash Book is designed to store your finance records locally on your device for the app's core functionality. We do not operate a personal financial-account database or require you to create an online account to use the core features.
Data stored on your device may be lost if you uninstall the app, clear its storage, reset your device, or otherwise remove the app's data. You are responsible for keeping any exports or backups you choose to create.
3. Photos and Receipt Attachments
If you choose to attach a receipt or photo, the app may request access to your device's media or camera features. The selected image is used for the receipt-attachment functionality. Do not attach information that you do not want to store on your device.
4. Reports and Exports
If you use the PDF or Excel export features, the app processes the selected financial information to create a report or export file. Exported files are saved or shared according to your device settings and the action you choose.
5. Advertising
Cash Book uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as advertising identifiers, device information, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostic information, subject to your device settings, region, applicable consent requirements, and Google's own policies.

6. Permissions
Depending on the features you use, the app may request permissions or system access related to notifications, camera, photos or media, biometric authentication, and saving or sharing exported files. Permissions are used for their relevant app functionality and can be managed through Android settings.
7. Security
The app may provide device-level or app-level security options such as PIN, pattern, or biometric authentication, where supported by the installed version and device. No method of electronic storage or authentication can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Third-Party Services
The app may use third-party services, including Google AdMob and related Google services, for advertising and technical functionality. These providers may process information under their own privacy policies.
9. Children's Privacy
Cash Book is a general-purpose finance utility and is not specifically directed toward children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children.

Financial records and attachments stored locally remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app's data, uninstall the app, or take another action that removes them. Information processed by third-party advertising providers is handled according to their policies and legal requirements.
